How This Non-IITian Cracked Google, Flipkart, DirectI Interviews
The IIT tag has helped many a student in India bag coveted jobs at Google, but many non-IITians too have made it to the company straight out of college on the back of their skills rather than campus placements. Vishwas Tripathi, a student of Motilal Nehru National Institute of Technology, went on to join Google not via campus placements but on his own, by focusing on the basics as well as treading the path less followed.

Google Pixel Is the First Google-Branded Phone, Comes With Google Assistant
At an event in San Francisco on Tuesday, Google unveiled the Google Pixel and Google Pixel XL, first Google-branded smartphones. As we'd reported in August, India is one of the launch markets for the phone, with Google Pixel price in India to start at Rs. 57,000, with pre-orders set to begin October 13. The phone will be available from Flipkart, Reliance Digital, and Croma, as well as smaller retailers, with a retail availability at the "end of October" according to Google.

When is Google’s birthday? The major thing wrong with the search engine's celebratory doodle
Google is celebrating its 18th birthday. The only problem is that it’s had at least six 18th birthdays already.
The company is showing everyone a cute, celebratory doodle on 27 September to mark the company’s coming-of-age. It shows Google’s “G” blowing up a balloon to spell out the rest of its name – but blowing it up too much, and being carried off into the sky.
